The 3 "R's" of Receptive Tourism(Receiving visitors from abroad and
SERVING

***1. SECURITY - "Let's Go Amigo" now is able to provide 2 options:
a - in El Salvador: On advance notice only: at least 7 working days,
the El
Salvador National Tourist Police in uniform are able to accompany any
sized
group on Day Trips anywhere within the Republic.
b - Again, advance notice only: One of our local partners is a Security
Company called Quality Security, S.A. de C.V. based in San Salvador, if
clients desire a Guard in plain clothes will accompany any Group within
El
Salvador and to Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua if required, in case
any
security situation arises, the Guard always works in co-ordination with
the
Driver and the Guide.
***2. COMFORT - "Let's Go Amigo" advises potential clients to please
contact
us at least within 7 working days in advance, to give us their
estimated daily
or weekly BUDGET, so that "Let's Go Amigo" can contact the appropriate
providers (Lodging Places, Tour Operators, Transportation Companies,
etc.) As far as Lodgings and Tours at “Let's Go Amigo"
we
will try our best to put together a package tailored to the customers
budget -
"From BackPacker to Billionare!" (And of course everything in between!)
***3. ACCEPTANCE - Most travelers are looking
forward
to meeting and interfacings with locals as well as
"sightseeing" and travelers from other nations are
of
course expecting a friendly welcome along with a warm smile
and an extended hand, since, of course they are
spending valuable time and expense to visiting an unfamiliar foreign
land.
Such popular travelers haunts as Antigua in Guatemala, The Bay Islands
in Honduras, Granada in Nicaragua, etc. are noted as
"Gringo Friendly" and provide excellent and
concentrated land and lodging services to the visitor. However,
in the Nation of El Salvador the "Receptive Tourism Industry" is
still in the development stage, with years to go
before El Salvador may be able to "compete” with it's
Central American
neighbors, "Let's Go Amigo" is putting together a
TEAM
of Regional Tour and Travel Providers,
including: Airline Reservations, Hotel Reservations,
Adventure Travel and Tour Operators, Bi Lingual
Guides with Outsourcing Services for such operators, and
Security personnel to assist Salvadorian tour operators to upgrade
Their services in order to be able to satisfactorally and more economically serve both the foreign visitor and the national clients.

| Un Nuevo Enfoque Sobre Los Idiomas
El Internet ha acercado a la realidad las nociones que la gente tenía acerca de los idiomas. Comunidades que estaban aisladas en el pasado se encuentran ahora a diario en contacto con cantidades de idiomas raros. El Internet ha aumentado también la necesidad de la gente de aprender idiomas nuevos, traducir más que antes (Sitios Web, Software, Documentos, Manuales, etc.) y el requerimiento de servicios lingüísticos y de lingüistas ha crecido a dimensiones anteriormente desconocidas. Sin embargo, también se ha desarrollado una tendencia de fuerte competencia. Mientras que en el pasado un lingüista pudo ofrecer sus servicios a su comunidad cercana de clientes, hoy en día un lingüista puede literalmente tener su domicilio en una isla en el Océano Pacífico y trabajar para clientes en Londres, Nueva York o Tokio. Este desarrollo significa en realidad que si Ud. es un lingüista debe competir AHORA con miles de colegas en su profesión mientras que anteriormente Ud. pudo haber sido el único profesional en su área. Si Ud. es un traductor, escritor, profesor de idiomas o un profesional que usa idiomas extranjeros, debe entender que Ud. no es el único que existe en el mercado. Parece que la mentalidad de un mundo que se está encogiendo no se ha infiltrado aún a todas la profesiones. Lo principal para recordar es, siendo un lingüista o no, que el Internet le va servir sólo si entiende que tiene que ser Competitivo en calidad y Precio. Y si lo puede hacer, tiene un lugar entre Los Políglotas.
